Actively Involved in International Forums: SIG Officially Becomes Part of AOAC Southeast Asia

SIG has achieved official membership in AOAC Southeast Asia (AOAC SEA). This step marks SIG commitment in supporting the development of scientific analysis and testing in the Southeast Asia region. AOAC SEA is part of AOAC International which is a global organization that has long been established in leading the development and validation of analytical methods at the international level. AOAC SEA has a special focus on developing analytical methods and testing standards in the context of the food, beverage industry and other scientific disciplines in the Southeast Asia region. AOAC SEA also functions as a forum for stakeholders including scientists, researchers, food experts, regulators, as well as representatives from the private and academic sectors. Through conferences and educational programs, AOAC SEA encourages collaboration and knowledge exchange to improve analytical standards, testing methods and food safety. AOAC SEA also plays an important role in supporting international harmonization in food trade.
