SIG Laboratory
The existence of a credible analytical test laboratory is an absolute must to create products that should meet certain requirements. In a production process, to produce a good end product and have a certain comparative advantage, it is strongly influenced by many factors, including the level of quality and ability to supply raw materials, the level of technology in the production process, the competence of human resources, the ability to maintain hygiene from the beginning to the end of the process, and so on.
Especially for food and beverage products (consumer goods), the production process carried out must be based on the standard principles of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system and good production process management. From the entire flow of the production process, one crucial point must be observed, namely the management of quality control and one of them based on the results of analytical tests in the laboratory. Therefore, the carrying capacity of credible test laboratory facilities as one of the “support pillar” for achieving a final quality product is necessary
The food-safety testing laboratory, PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech, Bogor, West Java, is the first laboratory in Indonesia to be accredited by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN) LP-184-IDN for the scope of testing the analysis of genetically modified / GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) products
To meet the needs of the consumers, the Laboratory of PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech Bogor has increased its competence by expanding the scope of accreditation in the field of food safety such as microbiological test, vitamin, fatty acid, heavy metal, pesticide residue, proximate, food additive, amino acid, nutrition facts, and other food safety tests.
When a food or beverage producer will register their product to BPOM or obtain a halal certificate or for internal quality control in the production process, the existence of an accredited food-safety testing laboratory at PT Saraswanti Indo Genetech becomes more meaningful.
